A message from a car donor

"When we bought that car, the kids were all at home, our dogs alive, we still had a home, and our careers were in full force. That car saw us through so much transition -- the onset of Todd's disabilities, the pain of losing our home, homelessness (in that car!), a crazy journey to the Keweenaw to sort out a crashed life, the loss of our dogs, a new dog, a new home, new hope. I couldn't sell that car. It had to serve a purpose; do good in the world. May it bless the artistic community work you do. That car has heart."
