Tragedy in the Copper Country

Picture

Calumet Native Among Victims in
Pearl Harbor Attack

RPM interviewed Peggy Germain and Bob Valley, to discuss the event that brought them together.  On December 7, 1941, Bob's older brother and  Peggy's Uncle were both killed in the Pearl Harbor Attack.  Bob was instrumental in helping to get Peggy's Uncle's remains brought back to Michigan in 2010.  His own brother was identified and returned to Michigan in 2018.  Peggy is working with RPM to animate her story.
