Classes and Workshops

We are waiting to release any dates for classes and workshops due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Enjoy this animation created by teens in a RPM stop-motion animation class. The teens animated a story as told by Veronica Medicine, a member of the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians located in Emmet County Michigan.

Needle Felt Flower Hat Adornment

Learn how to turn dyed wool roving into beautiful and unique felted flowers.  Sandy will give a step-by-step demonstration on how to create vibrant, 3-D flowers, leaves and curly vines,  for hat and other wardrobe embellishments. No felting experience is needed to succeed in this beginner-level class.  The class will draw inspiration from the hats in the exhibit and other samples showcasing the many possibilities of how felted flowers can be used.
