Helping People Tell Their Stories Through Digital Media

Real People Media is a 501(c)3 non-profit that teaches people how to create TV programs that discuss and explore local issues. We provide technical training and access to production equipment. Volunteers produce shows that celebrate local arts and culture and inform and educate the community about local issues and events. RPM believes in Giving Everyone a Voice.

The programs are the views and expressions of the individual producers and are not the views of Real People Media.  Real People Media is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and does not engage in political activities. We believe in "Giving Everyone a Voice" and provide a platform for people of diverse interests, backgrounds and cultures to express themselves in this ever increasing digital age. The Underwater Serpent
Five students (ages 12-16) completed this animation in Real People Media's weeklong animation workshop in December 2010. The story was originally told by Veronica Medicine and retold by the students.



Sault Environmental Club- Hiking and Skiing Trails in Sault Ste. Marie
This is a program of the Sault High Environmental Club in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Real People Media facilitated the making of this video by providing video equipment and training to the 8 participants. The program was conceived, shot and produced by the high school students.
