Real People Media is a 501(c)3 non-profit that teaches people how to create TV programs that discuss and explore local issues. We provide technical training and access to production equipment. Volunteers produce shows that celebrate local arts and culture and inform and educate the community about local issues and events. RPM believes in Giving Everyone a Voice.

Veteran filmmaker, Rich Brauer, speaks on producing and shares stories and insights from working in this dynamic industry
for the past 33 years.

Brauer received his B.A. from Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara in Motion Picture and Undersea Photographic Technology. His projects range from corporate communications to TV ads and documentaries. Since 1999, Brauer has directed six feature films and was the Director of Photography on both of Jeff Daniels' comedies, Escanaba in da Moonlight and Super Sucker. His latest feature film, Fitful, has been retitled Deadrise and was recently signed for worldwide distribution.
