Real People Media has just finished production on ROBO: Recycled and Kinetic Art for the Jordan River Arts Council in East Jordan, Michigan. The production, which was funded by the Charlevoix Community Foundation and Real People Media, captures students and professional artists as they transform "throw-away" items into functional and fun creations. Jordan River Arts Council volunteers, John Stevens and Jane Diller, inspired students in Charlevoix and Antrim counties by sharing fun and fascinating recycled art pieces. These inspirational sessions were followed by in-class workshops during which students designed and created their own pieces. The 25 minute program is recommended for grades 3-6. This is a terrific tool for teachers and a treat for students. Contact Real People Media for copies of this program.
