To encourage community participation and to teach youth about local history, culture and community events through the use of new media technology.  

RPM accomplishes this mission by providing training in media production, by providing access to production equipment, by serving as an educational and vocational resource, and by facilitating distribution of community productions locally, nationally and internationally. Find out more about us.

Helping Communities Educate and Evoke Change 

Training Services
To provide training in media production to underserved communities, (including media for web, TV and film) by providing direct access to production equipment, training, and resources including media specialists.
To help empower minorities, the underprivileged and others who lack a way of making their voice heard in the media forum that has become so dominant in our society by providing access to mass media and communication technology.

Video productions can be used by communities to:
To inspire community activism and engagement.
To encourage and exercise the free exchange of idea.
To preserve community history and culture.
Tell, share and preserve our own stories

Establishment of Community Media Centers
To help communities establish well-utilized media centers through assistance with fundraising organizational planning, technology acquisition and training.

To acquire media equipment for use by non profits and community media centers.

To encourage and support the implementation of video media into the curriculum of schools in underserved communities

Video Production Services for Non Profit Organizations
To provide low cost high quality video production services for nonprofits allowing them to showcase the organization and its services.

To help nonprofits and independent filmmakers to produce programs of educational and social merit. 

Educational Resource
To serve as an educational and vocational resource with maintenance of Real People Media website providing information on community activism and a resource for nonprofit organizations seeking to produce audio, video or web content.

Media Distribution
To assist organizations and communities with the distribution of community media productions locally, nationally and internationally through use of the Internet, radio, television and other outlets.

To Foster Nonprofit Collaboration
To sponsor seminars, workshops and other educational events where community members, governmental and organizational representatives, and other concerned members of the public and government may learn about and discuss the role of media and technology.
